7th Session Mentor Halftime Meeting

It is difficult to believe, but on July 12, the mentors and mentees will have reached the halftime point in the 7th and current session of our Mentoring Program.  On that day, mentors will meet at Donna Perry's home for coffee and a light brunch at 10:00 a.m.

Fall Retreat Coming Sept. 26-27, 2008!

Plans are being made for our fall retreat which is planned for September 26 and 27 at Melwood Retreat Center, in Nanjemoy, MD. This year's retreat is entitled The Bloomery: a place where women blossom in faith and friendship.  You'll cultivate a friendship with Jesus by digging into God's Word, and you'll find joy as you grow new relationships with other women.  

The Bloomery is an overnight getaway for women of all ages. Together we'll experience an enriching array of activities and devotions and freshen our hearts with bouquets of fun. There will be large group sessions, breakouts, and more, including a mini spa night on Friday. 

Plans are being developed and details will be revealed in the coming weeks. The cost for the overnight getaway will be $75.00 per person.  A $25.00 deposit to secure your space will be due July 6 and monthly payments of $25.00 will be due August 3 and Sept. 7 respectively.

Be sure to save the date!  The facility only accommodates 50 ladies and you'll want to be one of them.
