Potomac Heights Baptist Church

History

In 1954, Indian Head Baptist Church felt the need to establish a mission in the Potomac Heights community. In June, 1956, this mission was constituted as a Southern Baptist Church to try to meet the needs of a unique community called Potomac Heights. Today we are trying to do the same - meet the relevant needs of those throughout Southern Maryland by being a church that meets people right where they are. Change was needed then to meet the need; change continues today. And thus, we continue in the process of change...
